Blake Lively just launched her new e-commerce brand, Blake Brown, a hair care product line that draws inspiration from her personal hair care routine. She SOLD OUT immediately.
The brand made its debut at Target on August 4, 2024, offering eight products for now. These items range in price from $19 to $25. The lineup includes two distinct shampoo and mask systems designed to make hair stronger and healthier. Other products in the range include a leave-in potion, mousse dry shampoo, and a pre-shampoo mask.
Blake dedicated seven years to creating these products, putting each formula to the test on her own hair. The brand focuses on clean formulas that work well and don’t break the bank.
Blake also took charge of designing the packaging herself. It uses 100% PCR materials and aims to look good in people’s homes showing her eye for detail and respect for her customers.
The brand’s name, Blake Brown, pays homage to her dad. He used to have Brown as his last name before changing it after tying the knot. Blake’s love for hair care stems from her own struggles with hair damage while working as an actor.
This experience pushed her to start a brand that matches her idea of turning everyday must-haves into fun, high-quality, and affordable experiences.
I’ll do a much deeper dive into this story and Blake’s business, so subscribe to the newsletter and stay tuned!
